Registration Process

The host nation (Tomiki Aikido of the Americas) will be working closely with each WSAF member organization to ensure that online registration is handled efficiently. Registration must be done online through this website. We will not accept registrations on the day of the event, unless the person is already listed as an alternate from a team and is stepping in to fill a vacancy.

Registration follows these five (5) easy steps.

1

Individuals register using the online form during the registration period - January 1-July 3, 2019. Full payment will be required via credit/debit card at the time of registration. Payment will not be accepted at the door. You must pay online.

2

Based on the national organization you indicate on your registration, your information will be forwarded to a national representative; and they will be in touch with you to coordinate your event participation. A list of national representatives is available here [link needed].

If you are registering independent of a national organization, a liaison representative from the TAA will be in contact with you to coordinate your participation.

3

Final registration closes on July 4, 2019 - three (3) weeks prior to the tournament. National representatives will submit their full team rosters with alternates on or before that date. If you do not hear from your national representative, get in touch with them. To cancel a registration, contact comms@tomiki.org via email. There is no cancellation form on the site.

4

Seven to ten (7-10) days before the event, all national organizations will receive the competition brackets and a preliminary schedule listing all participants via their national representative.

5

When you arrive at the event on registration day, your national organization representative will meet with our host team. The host team will provide your organizational representative with all your registration information, including final schedules and mat assignments.
